How do I get to the HOY Hotel using public transport?

From Bamberg Central Station, bus lines 901, 902, and 911 go directly to the old town. The closest stop is Schranne, which stops directly at the hotel. Alternatively, taxis are available at the station – the journey takes about 10 minutes to the hotel.

Are dogs welcome?

Dogs are unfortunately not permitted in the hotel, but they are very welcome in the inn.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel?

Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking areas are located outside.

Where can I park?

Due to our central location in the historic old town, we do not have our own parking spaces. However, there is no need to worry, as there are plenty of parking options within walking distance of the hotel. The municipal underground car park at Geyerswörth Underground Garage can be reached in less than one minute on foot.

For loading and unloading, you can conveniently use the Schranne parking area right next to the hotel. In Bamberg’s old town, you will also find the public parking garage at Maximiliansplatz Parking Garage, and about 700 meters away, the public Zentrum Süd Parking Garage is another convenient option.

Yes, a baby cot can be booked for a small fee. This request should be made when booking.

Yes, each of our rooms is equipped with a hair dryer.

Is there a safe?

Yes, each of our rooms has a safe.

Is there WiFi in the hotel?

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.

Can I choose between different beds?

That depends on the room. You can find information about the bed size in the room description on our room pages.

Is there a mini bar?

Yes, it is stocked with water, soft drinks, Secco, and our own GRASER beers.

Booking and cancellation

How can I book a room?

Bookings can be made online via our website, by phone, or directly on site.

Where can I find the best price?

We guarantee that you will always get the best price on our website – but this only applies to the same conditions (namely including the cancellation conditions, the inclusive services, and the payment conditions).

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM.

Is it possible to check in early or check out late?

Feel free to mention this when making your booking – for a small fee, it may be arranged depending on availability.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Of course, all prices include breakfast.

What are the cancellation conditions?

For individual bookings: Free cancellation is possible until 3:00 PM, two days prior to arrival. In case of later cancellation, 80 percent of the total amount will be charged.
For group bookings (3 rooms or more): Free cancellation is possible until 3:00 PM, five days prior to arrival. In case of later cancellation, 80 percent of the total amount will be charged.

I did not book directly with the HOY Hotel, what do I do now?
